Christian Scrapbooking Pages Blog

Christian Scrapbooking Pages is an offshoot from my page on Religious Scrapbooking. As a way to share how a scrapbook page can be used to convey ideas and symbols beyond the usual scrapbooked subjects, this page was created with the idea of showing two matters of subject…being the Christian faith and the medium of scrapbooking.

Follow my blog in the links below to discover different ideas while reading and maybe even responding to the various spiritual concepts discussed in my blog pages. Let it inspire you to create a page of your own that conveys something you have learned in your scrapbooking journey.

Experiment in showing on the page what your faith means to you. Explore different mediums. If you visit my blog, you will see different types of pages. My favorites have been the ones I make by hand, although they are not the only kind.

Mediums I have used on my pages are gel pens, glitter glue pens and scribbler paints. You can use a favorite photo or copy of one as your focal point and build your experience up around that, for instance. One of the scrapbooking pages I created is completely digital. Sometimes I used the computer to find and print up different kinds of clipart to incorporate into my Christian scrapbooking pages.

One form of journaling has been called by some “note-booking” which is where the student is allowed to show on his pages what he has learned, be it from school curriculum or a bible study class at church. Take this same concept and apply it to what you understand in how to make your first or hundred and first Christian scrapbooking page. As you study the scriptures and listen to the Spirit, allow your creative side to come out in expressing what you have learned, whether only for yourself or to share with others.

For those of you who have been following my blog originally on blogspot, I am moving future inspirations onto this page. I hope that you will continue to check out these pages though they will be in a slightly different format. Did you come here directly? Want to see previous pages? Check them out at Christian Scrapbooking Pages at my old blogger address.
