The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and He will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:5,6
There are calendars you can purchase that publish a Bible verse for each day, so that you may have something spiritually uplifting to contemplate and add to your Faith Scrapbook, along with your thoughts and any pictures you find especially inspiring.
If something is weighing heavily on your mind, write it down in a letter to yourself, fold it up and put it in a self-addressed stamped envelope with a "Post-It" sticking up on it with a date 90 days hence, when you're going to drop it in the mail to yourself and get a good chuckle over whatever it was you were so worried about three months ago.
Each one of us has a lot of trouble in our lives ...
most of which never happened!
May God Clip You Close ...
